Riding Camp:

Learn to whisper to your horse as you share secrets with your new friends.  This camp is designed to build self-esteem and self-confidence in your child.  Your child will learn the basics of horsemanship in a safe and fun environment.
We look forward to teaching your young equestrian all the fun of caring for and owning a horse.

Daily Schedule of Camp Activities (9am - 1pm):

  1. Every day begins with a riding lesson.
  2. This is followed by a clinic covering a particular aspect of horse and stable management.  Topics included safety in handling, proper grooming, saddling, care of tack and equipment, feeding and stall cleaning, horse care and first aid, etc.
  3. Get involved with fun activities with the horses.
  4. Engage in planned crafts with other kids.

    Camp Horse Show:

  • At the end of each session, family and friends are encouraged to come watch their campers participate in an informal horse show.  The show gives the campers a chance to demonstrate the skills they have learned and get the feel of a real horse competition.  A T-shirt is given to each camper who completes the program.

What Should I Bring:

  • A bagged lunch and beverage of your choice (refrigerator and microwave available in viewing room)
  • Long pants, preferably jeans
  • Boots or shoes with a heel
